On Thursday, 6 June, at 19.30, the launch of the Split issue of Revizor Fanzin, entitled Nostalgia for the Future, will be held in Marjan Society Kiosk (the first vista) in Split. Authors whose works were presented in the Fanzin will take part in the launch, with Irfan Hošić present there on behalf of Revizor Foundation. The event will be moderated by Ivana Meštrov and Duška Boban. The Split issue was edited by Ivana Meštrov, an art historian who brought together - on its 32 pages - the key protagonists of the cultural and artistic scene of Split – authors, theoreticians, practitioners and activists, thus presenting an overview of current developments, artistic positions and proactive tendencies in the city.
The launch is envisaged as an informal gathering in and near the Kiosk on Mt. Marjan, as the place of recent ideological and ecological barriers. Besides the informal presentation of the idea of nomadic media that was conceived in Bihać by Revizor Foundation and that was so far published with the themes related to Bihać, Tuzla and Banja Luka and will be followed, after Split, by an issue on Rijeka – wants to point out the significance of joint regional actions in the fields of culture and arts. The shared past, similar present and uncertain future are the reasons that make this project necessary because of the need to deal with them in a more active way.
